Greetings.

This weekend if the weather is suitable, I plan to head to Cerkljansko. I'm wondering where, after the September flood, one can now get the stamp at Franja Hospital.

...Yesterday was a day for friends, a day for chatting, and the weather was on our side. Over little hills and meadows from Cerkno to Dolenji Novaki. Beautiful is our Slovenia. In the deep Pasica gorge hides the reconstructed military hospital Franja. We know it, our cultural heritage. The path through the gorge has been renewed, but the metal railing somewhat stands out. The upper part of the path is closed due to falling rocks. We can only imagine what effort and will was needed to carry the wounded along the Čerinščica stream to the hospital.
Take your time, it's a trip for small and big ones.....Majda

I visited the hospital after a long time, after the floods... Positively surprised by how super they restored the thing, as it really is a monument of inestimable value. Negatively surprised by the ticket collector who denied a large part of the hospital's own history, facts stated also on the info boards. Definitely the hospital is worth seeing and as Majdag already wrote, today one really has a hard time imagining all this together. And that's what gives the hospital its value.
p.s. the stamp is downstairs in the bar, with the waitress, the one in the box before the bar is not real

On Saturday from Cerkno towards Novaki, walk on Loška bike path to Robidnica. Nice views over Cerkljansko hills, little snow on Porezen, on top already saw towards Blegoš. Nature beautiful, locals friendly, say they often see wolves... Path easy, suitable also for easier walks in pristine nature.
