From Ankaran to Piran.

It's almost been a month since we in PD Škofja Loka retirees - section Četrkovci did the first hike of the year from Izola to Piran. This is definitely also a pleasant tour or walk for families with school-age children. Unfortunately the path from Fiesa to Piran along the trail high above the sea is closed due to landslides. Currently it's better to end this hike in Fiesa.

We started in Izola, followed a pleasant hike along the coast. Then came the path uphill through olive groves to Križ. In between we admired Moon Bay. Followed the path through salt pans towards Fiesa. From here the official path to Piran is closed. We did go to Piran along the sea though, but I don't recommend it. At high tide the path here isn't possible. We ended the path at Tartini Square, where there are quite a few options for coffee.
