From Ljubelj to Golica

Yesterday I did a hike from Ljubelj to Golica. Started from the parking lot at Ljubelj, then towards the hut at Zelenica. Then I went towards Vrtača-Stol and then to Stol. Continued on the marked path towards Vajnež and Golica, where the path is practically flat along the ridge... The path is very picturesque all the time, unique views, although the Julians and Kamnik Alps were in fog, the entire Karavanke were clear...nasmeh From Ljubelj to the hut on Golica I took cca 7 hours without stops, then still down to Planina pod Golico, where a friendly mountaineer drove me to the train station at Jesenice...

Yes, from Vajneževo sedlo to the end of Struška there is quite a flat traverse of the slopes of Belščica etc. The locals don't call this a ridge, but a traverse. The ridge is that part between Veliki and Potoški Stol.
I admit, you really walked quite a lot. Bravo, netopir!

Yes, I also walked this path from 05.08.2009 to 06.08.3009, just didn't go so "wild" like netopir

skorny, it's not said that netopir exactly wilded.. Well, some are faster than us. Jebiga.. Not everyone can do it.
On some sections, of course, it doesn't pay to run too much..
We all appreciate the same beauties, the same feelings, experiences etc..

Yesterday I walked the path from Golica to Ljubelj. Started a bit below Betel farmhouse and first climbed Golica. Then descended along the ridge under Krvavka to Suha saddle and headed to the marked path to Stol. In between climbed Vajnež too. From Stol descended scree and went upper path to Zelenica (thereabouts I ate my fill of blueberries and then raspberriesvelik nasmeh). From Zelenica then only descent to Ljubelj where transport waited. Walking time netopir states holds true... Interesting and nice tour! Lp!
