From Mežica to Dravograd along the KPP

In Mežica I head to the former summer swimming pool. Memories take me back more than 40 years, when we wanted to swim already in June, but the caretaker chased us out of the water saying the swimming season starts when there's no snow on Peca. Now the surroundings there have changed. I start walking uphill to warm up my body again. I remembered the course of the path well, so no issues with orientation. I impatiently waited for dawn, which happened only at Leše. That was also my plan, to cross the steep lonely path to Obretanovo during the day. I arrived at Naravske ledine just when the caretakers were drinking coffee. I ordered one too. Along with Coke and a roll. I backtrack part of the path, then choose the path towards Godca, which I improvise a bit on the descent by the stream. Then I walk most of the path all the way to Prežih. Of course without tears (not on my face). At Javornik I turn off the direction as showering and food at Tuširanje will suit me well. Then I continue to Šteharski vrh, which on the north side they call Črneška gora. Descent to the other side soon becomes very steep, but doesn't last long. When on the forest road the terrain is quite familiar to me (as far as viewing from afar goes). I photograph the Church of St. Cross right from the road. Then descent through the forest and I'm at Dobrava. Here across fields, later already for the third time I cross Meža, shortly after also Drava. In the town I quench my thirst, then to Košenjak.
