From Polhov Gradec to Škofja Loka

On Saturday we four hiking girls walked the path from Polhov Gradec to Škofja Loka. By bus from Lj. at seven, pensioners free, others 1.30 eur, really good weekend discounts. We went from Pratkarje, where to Grmada is marked one hour twenty minutes, to Tošč two hours 10 minutes. At the hunting hut we turned left, towards Mala Grmada. The path is nice, interesting, like being in high mountains, pity to miss this part, pines. A bit more, and we were already at Grmada. Morning was still more cloudy, a bit fresher, but pleasant for walking. Short stop at Gontah, for coffee and apple strudel, for homemade blood sausages it was too early... We continued to Tošč, the highest peak, then the part of the path we hadn't walked yet. Very nice part of the path towards the sv. Jedrt churchlet, at the chapel we turned towards sv. Ožbolt. Really beautiful are Polhograjci and these Ločanka ends. Views to already conquered peaks, Pasja ravan, Blegoš, Malenski vrh, Koprivnik, Mladi vrh. At sv. Ožbolt Karavanke and KSA are already nicely visible. The path is marked, but three times we checked the path on the map. Right at sv. Ožbolt churchlet there is a mark on the meadow, trodden into the little woods, downhill towards the farm was logical, but we didn't see the mark. Of course it went without problems, but maybe additional marks at three points wouldn't hurt. Afternoon cleared up nicely and we really enjoyed the beautiful autumn nature. The last church on our path was sv. Andrej church and we were getting closer to Lubnik and Škofja Loka. Descent to Puštal, past interesting Nacetova hiša, past Loška swimming pool, over Hudičeva brv. Really nice motifs in Loka. Then also coffee, bus and nice day was behind us. We walked 21 km, 1000 elevation.

In picture 2 is the mountain hut of the mountaineering society Blagajana Polhov Gradec. The hunting hut is before the ascent to Mala Grmada.

Yes, Saram and our mountain flower thanks for the note, you quickly noticed the mistake regarding the hut, I apologize. The first one I still looked at the sign, which is poorly visible, it's posted on picture 2, hut of mountaineering society Blagajana. The second is hunting hut, where we turned towards Mala Grmada....
