First I apologize (especially to Matjaž), for opening a new thread, since there's already talk about the matter. But the mentioned peaks aren't in the title, so it'll be easier to track when searching.
You'll look for the mentioned peaks in vain on maps, they're not marked even on the latest PZS map, Klinar is very sparing in his guidebook, describes Košuta on 40 pages, about this part he only comments that it's a climbing tour II. degree.
This forum was the reason a few days ago that Matjaž and I met, arranged and yesterday did the mentioned tour.
I won't talk about the weather, as fog took quite some time and enjoyment from us, so I'll probably return here.
A fairly friendly road takes us to the parking lot, from where it's cca 20 min. to the Spodnja Dolga njiva pasture (1400). Without stopping we continue well a kilometer to the east, then the path turns left and goes on to Košutnikov turn. It wasn't planned, but it's so close from the junction of our path that it'd be a shame to miss it.
On the return at the saddle we put on helmets and start enjoying the climbing. Unfortunately mists started appearing just then. We both had barometric altimeters which were perfectly aligned, but large fluctuation in air pressure prevented accurate peak measurement.
Gamsovke are really a treat. Four are almost the same height and vary up to 8 meters, two small hills are a bit lower. Completely different with Obliči and there are actually only two, the middle one is a small ridge that slightly waves four times. In the whole ridge there are quite a few bolts and belay points and since we had a rope, we used it on one (descent from the rock barrier behind the last Gamsovka).
Varied, wild and solitary world worth visiting.

Hello Anton,
excellent description of the ridge path between Košutnikov turn and Tolsta Košuta.
When I was looking some time ago for anything regarding this relation, I didn't find it. Today, when I entered "oblica hribi" in the browser (it referred to Oblica in the ridge of Loška stena), the fourth hit was also "Gamsovke 2065m and Obliči 2026m - Forum".

From Tolsta Košuta to Košut. turn: via Obliči and Gamsovke – conditions on 18.6.2024.

We did the ridge traverse, officially over 3 Obliči and 4 Gamsovke, … but there are actually a few more peaks, corners, steep ascents and descents. If the Obliči are somewhat of a ridge stroll, that certainly no longer applies to the peaked Gamsovke (difficulty approx I – II, some pegs), and since we didn't tempt fate, we did the traverse over Gamsovke roped up and directly along the ridge edge.
Where to start the ridge traverse is always an interesting question for route choice, we started from easier terrain to harder and from lower (Tolsta Košuta) to higher (Košut. turn), in between Obliči and Gamsovke are fairly level in peak heights, in short whoever counts two-thousanders, there are quite a few, but so what when those 7 or even more don't have their own personal names?!
It was a nice sunny day with wonderful views, a quite solid forest road leads below the Dolga njiva pasture, and now there's plenty of alpine flowers on the pastures and in the green slopes.

for safety we use a rope and walk roped together9
along the direct ridge cut10
wonderful world of horns and peaks that has on average quite good rock11
exposure is quite significant in places, especially on the Austrian side12
Gamsovke are officially four, but there are so many peaks in between that you forget to count them13
over Gamsovke, somewhere in the middle14
this peak is a side one in the ridge, but very beautiful15
the descents are also demanding16
belay stance for abseil, but we don't use it because the rock is solid and there are enough large holds on the wall17
this is how that spot /belay with peg/ looks from afar18
in the wall below the stance from the third Gamsovka19
then ... repeat the exercise ... up the other side20
sometimes the ridge also needs to be straddled a bit21
to the last Gamsovka and look back at what was traversed22
still a bit of fun from the last Gamsovka ... already towards the end of the ridge23
that grassy one ahead ... I don't know if it goes over 200024
look back: to the last one that we climbed25
we walk practically along the border all the time, but on Gamsovke there aren't many border markers26
look back - to the last grassy one27
well ... the last part of the path no longer requires protection28
this is how the ridge peters out and joins the normal path to Košutnikov turn29
well, ... and since we're here anyway, it seems fitting to visit Košutnikov turn too30

On Saturday around 5:30 start from the Pod Krnico parking lot towards Tolsta Košuta. Ridge traverse towards Košutnikov turn. I stuck more or less strictly to the ridge, that's what I read most often when looking for literature on this traverse. On the hardest part, descent from one of the Gamsovke where there's also abseil, the rock is the best, very compact. From there the difficulties are over. Continuation to Veliki vrh and return to start past numerous pastures. Altogether it took me, with breaks, 15 hours. The route adds up to 30 km and about 2500m elevation. Demanding and long tour but with great views, both up on the ridge and on the return via pastures.

For Wednesday we quickly arrange for Gamsovke. To get moving and "some adrenaline" before work. Well... adrenaline was then even a bit more due to locally damp rock and occasional gusts of wind. In the end the rope came in handy, which "I'll carry anyway just for the end because we won't need it" zadrega
