First I apologize (especially to Matjaž), for opening a new thread, since there's already talk about the matter. But the mentioned peaks aren't in the title, so it'll be easier to track when searching. You'll look for the mentioned peaks in vain on maps, they're not marked even on the latest PZS map, Klinar is very sparing in his guidebook, describes Košuta on 40 pages, about this part he only comments that it's a climbing tour II. degree. This forum was the reason a few days ago that Matjaž and I met, arranged and yesterday did the mentioned tour. I won't talk about the weather, as fog took quite some time and enjoyment from us, so I'll probably return here. A fairly friendly road takes us to the parking lot, from where it's cca 20 min. to the Spodnja Dolga njiva pasture (1400). Without stopping we continue well a kilometer to the east, then the path turns left and goes on to Košutnikov turn. It wasn't planned, but it's so close from the junction of our path that it'd be a shame to miss it. On the return at the saddle we put on helmets and start enjoying the climbing. Unfortunately mists started appearing just then. We both had barometric altimeters which were perfectly aligned, but large fluctuation in air pressure prevented accurate peak measurement. Gamsovke are really a treat. Four are almost the same height and vary up to 8 meters, two small hills are a bit lower. Completely different with Obliči and there are actually only two, the middle one is a small ridge that slightly waves four times. In the whole ridge there are quite a few bolts and belay points and since we had a rope, we used it on one (descent from the rock barrier behind the last Gamsovka). Varied, wild and solitary world worth visiting.
