Glemine is a 709-meter-high peak of the Pre-Julian Alps, rising above beautiful Gemona, which was completely renovated after the 1976 earthquake but retained its original style and is worth seeing. The hill above it has a well-equipped climbing garden and a nice climbing route, which David and I climbed today. The route is approximately 300 meters long, mostly second- and third-grade. One slab, about 15 meters long, should be fourth-grade, but since it's like marble, I think the difficulty has increased. Well, a little caution is needed here. The continuation was really pleasant, very nicely carved limestone, so full of nice holds and, except for one part, the route is not exposed. We were alone the whole route; only near the top a young guy caught up to us, who went up unprotected and even boasted that he doesn't know the route well at all. Well, I just told him to watch out not to fall on us. In recent years, climbing without any protection has become very fashionable, which seems quite unwise and dangerous not just for oneself but for others. At the top there's a cross with an inscription in Friulian, which I don't understand. Down leads a trail that quickly takes you to the town center. The rest the pictures say.
