Pleasant and short hike from Blagovica takes us in about half an hour almost 300 meters higher to Golčaj hill and to the church of St. Neža, from where there is also some view to the north side. Well-marked path, runs on cart tracks and maintained trails.

Just a short explanation for picture no. 3. The lower marking indicates the memorial trail called Vranov let.
Vranov let is a project that preserves the memory of the rescue and liberation of Allied prisoners of war and aviators during WWII. This is a memory of the heroism of Slovenian partisans, partisan couriers and the Slovenian, predominantly peasant population, who provided food and shelter to escapees even at the cost of their lives and property.
The trail is dedicated to the escape and liberation of 96 British prisoners of war from the STALAG XVIII D camp in Maribor. The event is unique in the history of World War II due to the multitude of liberated Allies. The escape was organized by prisoners of war Ralph F. Churches – Vran from Australia and Les Laws from England. From the partisan airfield Otok, on September 18, 1944, the British flew with Dakota DC-3 aircraft to the Allied base Bari in Italy.
