I hope the admin reads and also allows corrections to descriptions. It's about the hill Goli vrh, namely the one in Polhograjsko hribovje, the nearest larger settlement is probably Žiri. Or more specifically, it's this description of the hill: https://www.hribi.net/gora/goli_vrh/5/1504 What's written there is correct, but the description is obviously somewhat older, in recent years quite a few things have piled up that should almost obligatorily be added. As the author(ess) notes, the main highlight of the trip to those parts is of course not the indistinct and in the forest "hidden" summit, but in the last few years it's the fortification of the Rupnik Line. The entrance to the underground part is along the asphalted road about 30 m below the summit (my GPS tracker that I carried in my pocket about a meter above the ground measured 929 m.a.s.l. there), somewhere closer to the summit itself there are also two above-ground bunkers connected to the underground fortification. Apparently these two bunkers were until about a decade ago still very well "hidden" in the thicket, now they've somewhat cleaned the surroundings and one of these bunkers has been "adopted" by PD Žiri, which directed "its" marked path from Žiri (officially about 2h walk away) past it, placed a box on the outer wall (I didn't open it, probably a logbook and stamp inside), and to top it off you can 24/7 climb via a vertical ladder to the outer "balcony" of the bunker, which thus "replaces" the observation tower too. Probably this is one of the very rare summits that allow a unique user experience of approach besides the classic along the path. As a kind of souvenir from serving the current or maybe even previous homeland, you can climb to the aforementioned bunker also via stairs and ladder from the underground fortification and to conclude in the style of weapons drills crawl through a narrow round opening dimensioned exactly for a typical military ass some 8 decades ago. I headed there on the first Saturday in January from Suhi Dol (along the road between Horjul and Gorenja vas) with the obvious aim to catch the guided tour of the underground fortification. By the scheduled time roughly 10 interested people had gathered there, but it started with a very big delay. Since the guide wasn't showing up, someone called one of the phone numbers on the board at the entrance, where they found out they simply forgot that day, then finally ordered a reserve guide from "permanent readiness". Path description with quite a few photos, also of the aforementioned bunkers near the summit, is here: https://www.hribi.net/izlet/suhi_dol_goli_vrh_uradna_markirana_pot/5/1504/8958 It was my first time in those parts at all and if I unintentionally committed some major blunder, maybe best to correct me right in the comments. Maybe the admin could also slightly shift the starting point coordinates to match the same Suhi Dol from which 5 other paths are already described (https://www.hribi.net/izhodisce/suhi_dol/46.0502/14.2013 )? Otherwise GPS track: https://www.hribi.net/gps_sled/suhi_dol_-_goli_vrh_uradna_markirana_pot/797 and exactly the same on Wikiloc: https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/7-jan-2023-08-01-30-122924302 Finally the obligatory disclosure : I'm not affiliated with the institution caring for the fortification, and despite the ad I didn't get any discount on the entrance fee.
