Golica/Großer Speikkogel. Looked at it many times, on 23.2. set off up from Koralpe ski area. Path all on snow, first by ski slopes, then ratrak track and bit across, enhanced by great views south to familiar hills, from Pohorje, Kum, Uršlja gora ... Kamnik Alps, Karavanke, Julian Alps, and Dobrača ... Nice walk and good (plentiful) goulash at Koralpenhaus hut.

Last 15 minutes path unmarked, otherwise mostly walking towards highest peak of Golica on marked but rarely visited path.

Yesterday again on Golica, this time peaks Weinofen, Brandhöhe and Moschkogel, extended to Grillitschhütte hut.
Paths dry and normally passable.

Yesterday from Weinebene pass to Sprungkogel.
Road to start dry, on path up to about 15 cm snow.
No gaiters or crampons needed.

Yesterday, in a beautiful morning on Gr. Speikkogel from parking under Weinebene.
Firm but modest snow cover starts above Baerental.
Most visitors were ski tourers.
