Sunny Friday morning 6.5.11, perfect for a light walk. Circular route sp. Lancovo-Talež-Goška Ravan-Lancovo. Nice forest, marked path to Talež. Then back on road to junction of path to Vodiška planina. Some time on macadam road, then marked path directs us left. Through forest path back to road and just above it mountain hut Goška Ravan. To here 2 hours. Further on main road, direction Vodiške planine. After 500m at first junction turn left off road to forest path. Markings and signs lead back to start. Back in an hour and a half. Nice walk through part of Jelovica. Hut at Goška open all year.

Some photos from today's trip Kropa - Vodiška planina - Razpok - Goška Ravan - Razpok - Spodnja Lipnica - Kropa.
The walked path is normally passable, mountain hut on Goška Ravan is open every day from 10 o'clock onwards.

From my viewpoint I'll present our exploration of vast Jelovica. Jelovica is an area of vast forests. But it also has several pastures. Already in winter we visited Vodiška planina, now continued to Goška Ravan pasture. We drove to Kropa. Our start was already beyond Kropa at the former pool, now a museum point. Then signpost directs to Vodice. Path is quite steep, but well marked. To Vodiška planina takes 1.5 hours. From Vodiška planina via Rovti Razpok and Ažmanov rovt to our final pasture. Ažmanov rovt is actually a holiday settlement. More than an hour we needed from Vodiška to Goška Ravan. Here is the Mountain hut. Back same path to Razpok and from there on slightly worse marked path to village Spodnja Lipnica. We walked quite a way to Kropa. Half hour saved by a local who drove us part way. We took time to see Kropa - it is beautiful.
