Gradiška Tura Arête

29th December - Raz Gradiške Ture seems the nicest approach to me. But unfortunately it's very short. Especially if you have the whole day available. So I climbed to the Raz via the slab. If you look, you find twos too. Really nice varied climbing. The Raz is graded III, well maybe III due to exposure. Above the ledge there are really a few harder meters and since I was alone and without rope, I skipped them, but continued by traversing all the pinnacles. Down via Furlanova. Sunny windless weather perfect for constantly capturing what was seen and later reminiscing, and for lounging in blessed solitude. Lots of people on the summit though.
Gradiška Tura Arête A beautiful day is ahead. View of the goal.1
Gradiška Tura Arête First rays of sun.2
Gradiška Tura Arête First rocky section, hooray.3
Gradiška Tura Arête Yum.4
Gradiška Tura Arête To the right it's a bit steeper. With a rope it would go. But today I don't have it with me.5
Gradiška Tura Arête Beautiful overhangs. But it smells like in a chamois latrine.6
Gradiška Tura Arête Up over nice smooth slabs. Plenty of holds. Looking up it looks smooth ...7
Gradiška Tura Arête ... but when you look down, you see steps. Little rhyme.8
Gradiška Tura Arête I must go here in autumn, when the ruj glows.9
Gradiška Tura Arête Mmmm, always more beautiful. Raz Gradiške Ture is already visible in the background.10
Gradiška Tura Arête From the rocks I crawled onto this grassy promontory.11
Gradiška Tura Arête There it is! Just a little more...12
Gradiška Tura Arête I skip this initial grade 4 above the window.13
Gradiška Tura Arête Well, let's start.14
Gradiška Tura Arête It looks scarier than it really is.15
Gradiška Tura Arête I didn't even touch the sling. It's not yellow, ha ha.16
Gradiška Tura Arête I didn't take the photo with a telephoto lens from afar. I was really there.17
Gradiška Tura Arête Pure enjoyment.18
Gradiška Tura Arête View back; the start of the raz is not visible. But the church of St. Miklavž is visible.19
Gradiška Tura Arête I climbed over all the pinnacles. Those on top came along the path from the other side.20
Gradiška Tura Arête Thus some pinnacles are separated from each other.21
Gradiška Tura Arête What more beautiful do you want? Yes, every calf has its own merry.22
Gradiška Tura Arête The valley far below.23
Gradiška Tura Arête Let's look back. Pretty steep, right? But no panic. You just have to tackle it properly.24
Gradiška Tura Arête View back. To the right rear under the cut edge a meadow is visible and at its start rocks where I climbed up the lower slabs.25
Gradiška Tura Arête View back on the last two pinnacles.26
Gradiška Tura Arête Almost at the top. Triglav far behind seems lower, he he.27
Gradiška Tura Arête The valley is also very beautiful. And Triglav really is lower. ;-))28
Gradiška Tura Arête How close and how far.29
Gradiška Tura Arête In the background, the sea glistens in the Gulf of Trieste, to the right the Gulf of Venice. Antennas on Opčine above Trst and the church on Vejna are visible.30
Gradiška Tura Arête And the Dolomites.31
Gradiška Tura Arête After an hour of sunbathing on the top, down the fastest (rocky) path - Furlanova climbing route. Summit behind.32
Gradiška Tura Arête Along the fixed rope, express down.33
Gradiška Tura Arête Already here at the little balcony.34
Gradiška Tura Arête To the left in the wall are two female climbers. Ooo, I would too if I had a rope and the right company.35
Gradiška Tura Arête But today I'm just plodding along the fixed rope.36
Gradiška Tura Arête The sun is taking its leave.37
Gradiška Tura Arête Another look at the radiant beauty, where I myself was also radiant today.38
Gradiška Tura Arête Goodbye! Until next time. Thank you, oh God, for a wonderful day!39
