is there any hard via ferrata nearby similar to Via della Vita or the Italian one on Mangart (looking for ideas for tomorrow)?

Viš and Montaž already offer you quite a choice.

Via Amalia on Montaž would be in that range LP B

Yes, this seems fine to me. How about the descent here? Is there any other descent variant back to the start, besides the same path?

Nice. Unfortunately a bit too far.

Yes the logistics are a bit weird, but closest to the car (but by no means the easiest) is the same way back. If possible, one car at Pecol, the other at the start in Zajzeri. But I can't help commenting on @skrajnik and @YoYo: namely Cjajnik or Konigsjodler ferrata are in a completely different league than what ugn is asking!!!! LP B

As user ben already wrote: one car at Pecol, the other to the starting point. That detour will take you about an hour. Otherwise (in my humble opinion) the grassy slopes you cross towards Findeneg in the current weather situation are probably not the most pleasant. What about Anita Goitan? lp d

BenHur don't get mad, I'm sure ugn has already started planning it for next time :P

greetings everyone and thanks for the suggestions, the plan for today was actually Via Amalia (up and down the same path) while driving there I saw freshly whitened peaks, changed the plan, and went just to check from the other side - to Špik nasty ledges and traversed the "left" path (supposed to be the hardest of these southern traverses) and over Pipanovo to Montaž, the goal was descent to Findenegg glacier to Bivouac Surnigar to at least see that part, but descent from the summit to the glacier was actually quite covered with fresh snow, snow patches right on the path, markings covered and I didn't dare and descended the usual way back to Pecol. Shame for the vacation for such a short ascent, Via Amalia stays in the plan Anita Goitan maybe sometime too otherwise I'm grateful for all (also further) suggestions, the more there are, the greater the chance some really good one among them. I'm really more interested in classic alpine ascents, these newer overly secured polygons not so much. lp
