Hello, I am visiting Sept 3-9 and hoping to do a four day running trip staying in huts. 15-33k/day and NO technical mountaineering routes although a lot of elevation gain is ok! Hoping to start and end in Stara Fuzina but open to other suggestions. Thanks!

Day 1: Stara Fužina-on bicycle and pedestrian path, separated from the main road, to Bohinjska Bistrica-Orožnova koča na Planini za Liscem-Črna prst-Rodica-Koča na planini Razor (overnight stay) This is the longest and most physically demanding day, but with an exceptional panoramic ridge above Orožnova koča. Day 2: Planina Razor-Vogel-Konjsko sedlo-Planina Govnjač-Dom na Komni (overnight stay) Lots of hilly terrain and grassy ridges. Day 3: Dom na Komni-Koča pod Bogatinom-Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih-Zasavska koča na Prehodavcih (overnight stay) Highland terrain, without technically demanding parts, with the ambiance of the Triglav National Park and numerous lakes. Day 4: Zasavska koča na Prehodavcih-Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih-Planina pri Jezeru-Planina Blato-Vogar-Stara Fužina A long cross-country final stage through the beautiful Bohinj pastures. I tried to calculate the length of the stages and the height difference quite roughly, so it should only serve as an orientation. Day 1: 24km-28km, ascent approx. 2200m Day 2: 20km-24km, ascent approx. 1400m Day 3: 18km-22km, ascent approx. 1200m Day 4: 22km-25km, ascent approx. 400m, descent approx. 2000m You can find route descriptions and attached maps on these pages, and for reservations for accommodation in huts, visit the website of the Slovenian Mountaineering Association (huts): https://pzs.si/mountain-huts/
