If anyone else is in the same position as me, here's the info:
I spotted PZS info on Mammut ferrata sets so I decided to write to them to check if it's true:
Dear,
I read about your recall of viaferrata sets. I bought classic viaferrata set 10 days ago and i used it only once.
As I previously knew that a lot of sets had been recalled i ask the seller if they know that and if they change or sent the sets back to the companies.
He said that they know and they alerady sent all the viaferrata sets back.
I bought the viaferrata set in Hervis Slovenia. As i do not wanna couse extra costs to you and do all this i just ask if this is true so I can use my ferrata set without any problems in the future.

the info that you got at Hervis Slovenia is NOT true and we are currently recalling all Mammut Via Ferrata Sets of the Generation 2012: http://www.mammut.ch/en/viaferrata_precautionary_recall.html / https://d1qxh2iwg385ci.cloudfront.net/images/viaferrata_precautionary_recall_so12_affected_products.jpg Therefore we would kindly ask you to please follow the recommendations in the recall and send back your Via Ferrata Set to our Customer Service in the EU / Germany.
