I couldn't find this topic, because I always went to Planjava too. Today I skipped it. Started from Jermanca and through Repov kot to Srebrno sedlo, and past the window to the Highest Ridge. Down under Planjava to Kamniško sedlo and back to the valley. In the morning it was cloudy and even a few drops of rain fell. Later it cleared up. Quite a few hikers, especially around the hut on the saddle.

I had to take Matej to the Najvišji rob too. Todi was along. From Jermanca through Repov kot, over Srebrno sedlo. We climbed also to Planjava and over Kamniško sedlo to the valley. Hut at saddle open. Quite cold, and windy. Quite a few snow patches on the path. Snow frozen but not icy, crampons and ice axes stayed in packs. In hut cozy warm and friendly. Todi will describe conditions under Planjava. Road to Jermanca "catastrophe".

From Jermanca, through Repov kot to Najvišji rob. Down under Planjava to Kamniško sedlo to chat with Jerca and Simon. This time alone, so skipped Planjava. Nice weather, not many hikers.

From Jermanca, through Repov kot to Srebrno sedlo and to the Highest Ridge of the Zeleniške Špice. Under Planjava to Kamniško sedlo and back to Jermanca. Nice day, just before school, full of people. Hut at Kamniško sedlo open till 15 Oct.

Today (1.11.) over Srebrno sedlo.
Snow starts at ca. 1300m, but the path is practically dry. The only problem was crossing a short jump or right passage over a smooth slab with a precipitous drop. From the saddle onwards practically all dry, both towards Ojstrica and Planjava (sunny side). In shady locations on the north side all snowy - Korošica all in snow.
Return over Planjava to KS - all "critical" spots dry, but on some shady parts of the path caution is needed. Maybe crampons would be useful on this part of the path (won't say which, so Brihta won't pontificate from the armchair again) - I had both, and the beanpole...

At Barbara's request we headed through Repov kot towards Srebrno sedlo.
Past the window to Highest Ridge.
We returned under Planjava, where there are still some short snowfields, which were no problem to cross.
We didn't go to the hut on Kamniško sedlo, as we descended via scree towards Pastirci.
Weather quite nice, a bit windy here and there, but nothing serious.
We had a good time.

Today again to Highest Ridge, this time alone.
Nice weather, nice views, path without special features.
I also stopped at Kamniško sedlo. The hut should be open until October 10th.
