Spouses Mateja and Aljoša Kramberger from Destrnik have walking - travelling as their favorite hobby. Thus in the past year they walked in one go the Slovenian part of the European footpath E6, which runs from Radlje to Strunjan. In the last few years they have witnessed hard struggles of people dear to them with stubborn cancer. Therefore they decided to dedicate this year's hike to all patients fighting this difficult disease.
For this purpose they will walk this year the Slovenian part of the European footpath E7, which runs from Robič to Hodoš. At the start of the path, you can wish them happy journey on Friday, 11 July 2014 at 17.30 at village Robič, at Nadiža swimming pool – bife Z'Der. Read more ...

Day 2: Saturday, 12. 7. 2014, from the Robič border crossing to Tolmin
Today's stage is behind us. We did 37 km and some penalty laps, so we think we're somewhere at 40 km. We walked the path from bar Zder to Kobarid, through villages Ladra, Smast, Libušnje, Vrsno. Then to village Krn, pasture Pretovč, pasture Medrja, Čerč, Javorca, Zatolmin and finally arrived in Tolmin. We did 1200m ascent, approx. the same descent and 58000 steps. A thunderstorm caught us, but we didn't let it stop us. Every ascent was rewarded with a beautiful view. First blisters also appeared, which we're already treating. Today's path was dedicated to Mrs. Marcell Blasc. We tell her that despite occasional bad feelings life is really nice. Today during the three-hour walk in the rain, the song helped us: But I will go and sow...  Tomorrow we start the path at 5.15, in front of the Krn hotel in Tolmin, you're invited to join us, we'll try to reach Stržišče.
