Hike of participants to the battlefield at Three Nails Osankarica; memorial ceremony at the monument to the fallen partisans of the Pohorje Battalion 69 years ago will be on Saturday, 7 January 2012 at 11.00.

So apparently only the ceremony was today, the hike will be from now on every year the 2nd Saturday in January.

Yesterday, second Saturday in January, hikers and female hikers of PD Velenje attended the 34th hike along the paths of the Pohorje Battalion, in Dolič we were joined by hikers of the newly formed Pilates section from Dolič. We arrived at Rogla or Pesek around half past seven in the morning, at eight we headed towards Three Nails, to which we walked two and a half hours. After a short stop we continued the path towards the house on Osankarica, to which from Three Nails we needed twenty minutes. After a short stop 10 hikers decided to continue the path on foot to Zreče, buses were waiting for the other hikers in Kota na Pohorju. The path led us past wonderful idyllic Pohorje villages like Božje, Koroška vas na Pohorju, Gorenje. We arrived in Zreče just after 15:30, to Zreče we needed three and a half hours, total we walked six hours and twenty minutes. In Zreče then followed a pleasant party with dancing.
Let me also write that we couldn't wish for better weather, it was cold though, especially on Pesek and at Three Nails, there was also quite a lot of snow, since we trampled it nicely towards Three Nails.

There were far fewer hikers this year than previous years, already in the morning at the start at the hut on Pesek there was no special crowd. It was quite cold, and on top a light cold breeze blew, intensifying the cold.

It would be nice and right if at least on this portal we didn't engage in politics; there you have 24kur etc. Most certainly don't miss the arguing about politics here.
