Yesterday Romana and I walked the footpath around Wörthersee. We tackled the path right from in front of our apartment in Klagenfurt, so we already had 5 km on the (counter) to the junction of the circular path. The path is routed along existing trails and tracks, where that's not possible, along local roads. Through the town we went only in Velden, which is currently a construction site due to the town square renovation. The highest we climbed to was Pyramidenkogel, which due to the construction of the new viewpoint tower is also a big construction site. After returning from the forests, we returned to Klagenfurt via the bicycle trail, past Minimundus along the canal. We walked 72 km and 1900 m of elevation gain, on the path for 15 h. The circular path is well marked. Regards.

Today by bike around Wörthersee.
From the northern side along the bike path by the lake to Velden, on the southern side into the forest on the footpath, past Tratnigg pond to Pyramidenkogel, then through Hodiše and then Vetrinje to Klagenfurt. Nice circular tour.
