Hollbrucker Spitze 2580 and Holbrucker Kreuz

I've been regularly visiting the Carnic Alps for a few years now and since I've covered the eastern part quite a bit, the western part was next. Last week I drove along the Gail Valley to Kotschach Mauthen where I turned towards Obertilliach and just before Sillian at the end of Kartitsch village turned left to Hollbruck village 1360m. I parked at cervi where it's also the start for ski touring from Hollbruck Spitze 2580m, which was my goal today. First hour I walked almost flat along the beautiful Hollbrucker Tal valley where there are benches for tourists along the road. The path then started rising along the left side of a stronger stream up to the flat at Ochsenboden pasture 1950m. There I turned right and went up along the stream to the lake and a bit higher to a small shepherd hut shelter at 2350m. Continued on old military paths to the main ridge of Carnic Alps where I turned north and climbed to the summit which is apparently called Hollbrucker Kreuz 2581m. At the top there is a new cross and space for logbook like an oven. Along narrow ridge back to saddle and up grassy ridge to Hollbruck Spitze, which is more poorly marked with stone pile. No stamp, no logbook, not even a cross. Still did what I came for and slowly descended back to shelter at 2350m at Seehohe because from southwest it was already blowing hard bringing dark clouds. In small hut slept on wide mat in my thin sleeping bag covered with blanket that was inside. Already around 20 a wild thunderstorm raged with crashing and I was glad I didn't continue earlier to next hut Obstanser Seehütte as storm would surely catch me on ridge.
