Hello!
I'm wondering if it's really necessary to collect hut keepers' signatures along with stamps as a condition for completing the Slovenian Trail?

It seems to me that this signing has gotten a bit out of hand. This year at Vršič my daughter pressed the stamp and when I asked the hut keeper for a signature, he looked at me a bit blankly, like, I don't remember when I last signed in a booklet. Then he gave his blessing , but I somehow understood that it's no longer necessary for the hut keeper to sign. I might be wrong.

For info, during last year's Pohorje traverse no hut keeper signed my booklet. Stamps are usually in a box in front of the hut or on the counter and that's it.
And I fully agree with the previous one, they'd probably just look at me weirdly if I asked someone for a signature.
