Hut on Klopni vrh

I've been searching for information about the Hut on Klopni vrh for quite a while, so please help with advice on starting point, approach, duration, difficulty etc.

We went from Bolfenk to Kop last year. Stayed overnight at Areh and started at 5:30am towards Pesek (arrival at Pesek 10:50). We went over Klopni vrh - saw the hut but didn't visit as the path branches left a few meters before the hut. Path is extremely nice, easy, wide - in short, it was great. Mushrooms grew right along the path. Think we hiked to Klopni vrh cca 3-4hrs (from Areh). Path well marked too - adding some pics (if anything else interests you, ask). Honestly recommend this path!!

On Sat 6.6.08 we were at Klopni vrh. First thought Areh as start, but pouring rain, so started footpath from Šumik. From there to Klopni vrh forest path cca 1h15min, back cart track 1h. Both paths very well marked (kudos PD Ruše!). Hut open all days except Mon. Nice walk thru Pohorje forests despite rain, will repeat in better weather (then from Areh)!

And this: don't let the name Klopni vrh scare anyone. Not those small dangerous insects, but the look. Peak looks like a tick, next to it Mizni vrh! mežikanje

On Sat 30.06. on the path from Pesek to Klopni vrh we found car keys (Citroen), now they are in the hut on Klopni vrh.

@navdušena .... I overnighted there a few days ago on the way from Solčava to Maribor. I can say I was very pleasantly surprised. The hut outside has an antique feel, inside all new and tastefully arranged. The friendly keeper is also the owner and it shows in every corner. I recommend without reservations.

On Wednesday 31 October my son and I visited Klopni vrh. We parked at Holy Three Kings, past Šumik to the Hut below Klopni vrh. Then to the top and towards Pesek, halfway along the path we turned towards Osankarica and past Black Lake back to the start. The path is marked, decently signposted, but we checked the map several times. Not many views, except from the hut nice view of Maribor. Lots of water on the path, proper footwear mandatory. Saw squirrels and quite a few birds (2 bullfinches). Path not strenuous, but in seven hours 28km and nearly 900m elevation.
