After a successful hiking tour, success is celebrated in nearby catering spots as close as possible to our final hiking goal. Retirees hike more during the week and often at least on Mondays they open their place just for us and serve us in a friendly manner. They also cook some local spoon dish.
This time we retirees from DU Britof-Predoslje (we're neighbors of Brda castle) stopped on the way back from Lisca in the village Okroglice at the inn-guesthouse Močivnik, which boasts three stars. They served us a local spoon specialty. I don't know what it's called or I didn't note the name. It's jeshprenj or richet (also contains mushrooms and dry meat, jeshprenjek and kropir). Of course, you need to order the hot snack in advance. For welcome, they serve homemade schnapps. With the stew they served homemade bread. For dessert also pogaca, whose name I don't know. The place is in a nice location. In the hallway, wooden boards display depictions of farm chores that are actually extinct. I warmly recommend this guesthouse.
