This morning I visited Ivanac (Monte Joanaz). Started at St. Anthony chapel near Čenebola and climbed the marked path to the top. A bit of everything: shower, wind, clouds and sun. Path muddy at start, higher up no issues. At this time meadows dotted with numerous daffodils nasmeh

Yesterday, on Easter Monday, I went with PD Rašica Ljubljana to Benečija to Ivanac summit. Start in village Tavorjana (Torreano). Path marked but poorly maintained. Back via another path through Čarni Varh (Monte fosca) to end in Štupca (Stupizza).

Along the river it is lively.24
We finished in the village Štupca (Stupizza).25

Yesterday second time this year to Ivanac. This time from Robidišče village. This village hit by strong earthquake last century almost razed to ground now partially rebuilt. Village has guesthouse and few apartments. Narrow road to mountain. Drove to chapel on right and from there to Ivanac top on other path. This other chapel not the one other side. Path somewhat steeply up forest to top from other side at lower transmitters. Then to summit and usual to monument and hut. Down drove road other side - countless turns. Up down road only 20-seater bus fits.
Village Robidišče - the last village still in Slovenia.1

We arrived to Robidišče from the village Logje. From that village one could also walk here.6
In front of the inn in Robidišče village.7
Arrived via narrow road with two-seater vans to the first chapel - from the right side of the start.8
On the other side of the road near the chapel are monuments from WWI.9
From the chapel the right marked path leads to Ivanac summit.10
Through the forest along a small path to the clearing below the summit.11

Brane,
No pictures from the top? Were you even on the top?
In pics 15 and 17, transmitters not receivers.
In pic 20, alpine shelter and not closed type as you wrote

tulipan, miri, I corrected the mistakes.

In spring, when I went with PD Rašica Ljubljana to Ivanac, they didn't accept us in that alpine hut. Apparently only for them.

Really nice it was yesterday to look into the world just across the border, and very quickly, already at the parking lot, to spot endless Friulian plains, above which the sun had just shone and gilded the entire landscape, which was completely new to us, as we were there for the first time. Likewise, the Kanin mountains sparkled in the sun, rising behind our backs, and equally the Dolomites, a couple of minutes from the starting point onwards.

We drove across the border crossing Robidišče and after five km parked under the chapel of St. Anthony, which is one of the starting points for ascent to Ivanac or Monte Joanaz. We started the ascent on Martin Čedermac's path, and joined the path on the ridge that comes from the chapel or the saddle Madonnina del Domma. We returned on that path and thus made a circular tour. Already on the ridge, views of our Julian Alps began to open, which this time were truly unmatched in a very richly decorated snow blanket. First Krn with the entire ridge appeared, Triglav joined in the view, Bavški Grintavec, Jalovec, Mangart, Rombon, Kanin with its company ... Behind Grand Monte ridge the Muzci rose, on the other side Karnic Alps, the mentioned Dolomites, from which their highest Antelao nicely stood out.
The main star of the view of course Matajur, which however was bare.

Well, at the most beautiful spot on the path a wonderful tree with bench, where you really can't just pass by. We circled around it and admired it from all sides, unable to decide from which side it's the nicest. Ideal spot for rest and snack, as at the summit of Ivanac itself there's no suitable space for that.
Really wonderful peak for these winter days, also the golden grasses at this time are real decoration of the path.
We can only recommend the peak, and we actually don't know Venetian Slovenia at all. For us Ivanac was the very beginning of this discoverynasmeh

ločanka,
what do you say, could this little tree be the one in your photos 15, 23 and 33? I was on Ivanac in June 2013, no bench yet.
