Ivanji vrh

I'm wondering if Ivanji vrh above Iški Vintgar is even accessible? There's no path to it on the maps, but from the couch it doesn't look too far from the path. How is it in reality, on the terrain, has anyone maybe walked around there?

I think there shouldn't be any problems, there are quite a few forest roads - cart tracks nearby...

In my view it's most overgrown in the Mokrec area. I approached from Stražar over Čavec. A bit below Ivanji vrh I turned off the track over a rocky step into very dense spruce forest, through which you push for about 5 minutes. Branches break, lots of fallen branches on the ground. There's nothing at the summit itself. I descended the other side towards Smrekovec. I ran into a fence. Inside there was a house and then I walked through nettles along the fence to the road.
Easiest is along the road to the house, then along the track above Kozlove stene and turn right at the most suitable spot. Easier in winter, no nettles. Little off-trail, but lots of snapping spruce branches when pushing through.
Described state is May 2020.

@djimuzl, thanks, as said, I've studied the maps velik nasmeh, but nowhere any record that someone has walked around there.

@rokeg, thanks for first-hand info. Don't know the area otherwise, but I'll follow your instructions. Do you maybe know if that dashed path on the Geopedija map (which djimuzl also attached above) drawn directly from Dom in Iški Vintgar exists in reality, or is the only option more around, past Stražar and Čavec, as you went too?

Sadly I don't know, since I haven't gone from Iški Vintgar. But there were some tracks from above, so probably possible. These maps are older and so I take these paths with a grain of salt. Because they can be forgotten.
Best to drive to the dom in Iški Vintgar and look for the start, if not, you can start in Iška and along the marked to the edge, then past Stražar (worth going up for the view) and Čavec to the road and down it a bit to the junction, where you go right to the end and then along the track and turn left at the most suitable spot. Recommend navigation, because without it even the summit or highest point is hard to find.
I went from the village Škrilje and made a loop over Mokrec.

Thanks for all the tips, very grateful! Without navigation it's clear to me it almost wouldn't work nasmeh

If you have some 'sports' app, you have option to view 'heat maps'. Simply put, it's a collection of all users' GPS tracks on one map.

Here it doesn't look like anyone walks (Strava).

I'm always interested in some exploring. Once I went with a forester to find the oldest larch in Slovenia and I located it precisely too. The problem was only that it was quite poorly accessible.

For this peak I quickly looked where it is and located it on Atlas Okolje, which is more accurate than Google maps. Anyway, you can see it's all very overgrown, as the previous two said. In the bottom left corner is probably that house that was already mentioned.
