With Maržon we went from Planica first on skis, then on foot to the saddle. Snow is excellent, except some avalanche debris in the glacier.

has anyone been to Jalovčev ozebnik in the last days? What's the conditions? Snow?

Jalovec Glacier(24.02.18)
New snow from Tamar onwards 20 cm.
No problems with skis or snowshoes, though buddy without aids on feet arrived same as others. Glacier was scoured probably since Thursday, but only from middle down. Above that mostly from glacier top lots of windblown snow. Due to some drifted snow and poor visibility 2200m quite enough. Some skiers too. In few days ok, for those who love "Siberia".
Afternoon also two laps charity Ruth run.

On Saturday conditions were good - snow sinks underfoot almost everywhere but not excessively, one can progress nicely. Only on a few spots harder, no ice seen. Some rocks fell too.
