Behind me is another wonderful tour. This time we drive by car into the Gail Valley to the village St. Daniel, from there by bike towards the Jauken Alm (1934m). Initially the path is asphalted then gravel. The path steadily climbs evenly all the way and runs through the forest. We go past the hamlets Monsell and Goldberg, where the gravel also starts. The path from the village is 13km with 1284m. The alm lies at the foot of Torkofel and is surrounded by a huge pasture. From here we go to path no. 229, which steeply climbs to the transverse path. There it was necessary to push the bike as cycling is not possible (150m). The transverse path runs under Jaukenhoh and Jaukenstockl. From here onwards the path is all descent. A two-kilometer fantastic singletrack with wonderful views then takes us to the gravel path, which leads to the Ploner alm before that past a small Ploner lake. A descent follows to the hamlet Plon, where the gravel ends and we have some asphalt left to the valley and the main road, which then takes us back to St. Daniel.
