On Sunday we went to Goreljek and from there to Javor Peak, from which the view was fantastic. From there we went to planina Konjska dolina and from it via the beautiful planina Zajamniki to Uskovnica. From Uskovnica to Srednja vas in Bohinj. It was fantastic.

This must be very interesting. Can you give me more info about the path, julius!?
Was there still any snow? Thanks in advance for the reply!

Mojcika, hello.
The path starts at Jelka on Goreljek (Pokljuka). At the start there is an asphalt road that ends at Spodnji Goreljek. From there the path goes along the forest road past planina Jelje. To the planina it was passable, further some snow and ice. At the bend where the road turns literally back, a sign directs right uphill on an unmarked and poorly visible path to Javorov vrh. The sign says "Javorov vrh 1.9 km???". From the summit, where there is really a wonderful view in all directions from Triglav over Karavanke, across the whole Pokljuka to Karavanke and back to Bohinj-Tolmin mountains, you descend back to the road. Along the road above Konjska planina towards Planina Zajamniki (a few meters descent, richly rewarded). From there along the road to planina Praprotnica and then to Uskovnica. The hut is open on weekends. From Uskovnica descend along the hiking path to Srednja vas in Bohinj. Walking times as follows:
Goreljek-Javorov vrh approx. 1.5 hours.
Javorov vrh-Uskovnica good two hours and Uskovnica-Sr.vas Bohinj 1.5 hours.
Path suitable for all, on the road some snow and ice in places (from Goreljek to the branch to Javorov vrh). Path not marked, but there are signposts on the road, so you can't miss.
I am convinced that this trip is really something special and worth doing.
I wish you many nice moments on hikes.

I leave the car at Goreljek and head along the road towards pl. Zajamniki. The wide forest road quickly brings me to a sign that directs right into the forest to Javorov vrh. The soft path gently ascends for a while, the last meters flatten out and I am already at Javorov vrh. From the top there is a nice view towards the high mountains. I meet no people, only two hedgehogs went on an afternoon walk like menasmeh

This afternoon I am going for a nice walk to Javorov vrh. I leave the car at Šport hotel and continue on foot. At first the road is clear, snow starts where the road branches right towards pl. Zajamniki. Someone drove a car on the road and made a nice track for us walkers. I meet quite a few people, all satisfied and smiling, nature really works wonders.mežikanje When I reach the signpost for Javorov vrh, I see that someone has already walked ahead of me, making my walk much easier. In the afternoon it clouded over, so there was no sun on the top. But because of that, the day was no less beautiful. Be well and safe.

To Javorov vrh from Goreljek the path shortens quite a bit if you go past Jelka on the cart track (or directly on the ski slope by Jelka) to the top of the ski slope where
to the left you find a well-trodden path that very soon brings you to a wonderful small planina, you cross it diagonally past the hut in the middle below, catch the cart track which after about 100 meters brings you to the ramp, there go left and after a few steps you are already on the road that leads towards Zajamniki and further soon you are at Jelju and to Javor it is not far anymore.
You go past here, Javorov vrh in the background.1

Just the right height of dry snow cover was a real pleasure for walkingnasmeh
I started the trail in the village of Podjelje. Above the village branches off a path towards Konjska dolina and planina Jelje. Right up to that height there was stubborn fog that didn't dissipate over Bohinj all day.
From planina Konjska dolina I also went to the viewpoint at Peče. Then to the Goreljek - Zajamniki road. Somewhere between planina Konjska dolina and Jelje is the junction for Javor Peak (sign).
The path to the top is not marked. In winter, more care is needed in finding the right path.
From the top wonderful views over Pokljuka and the Triglav range zavijanje z očmi
Return to the road and descent to planina Jelje, then back to Podjelje to the car.
Nice loop tour, which can be extended to Zajamniki or all the way to Pokljuka. Snow 20-40 cm.

Today loop: Podjelje, Konjska dolina, viewpoint at Peče, planina Zajamniki, Javor Peak and via Spodnje Jelje back to the car.
Barely any snow, mostly cloudy weather, so only one or two photos.
Otherwise we didn't meet anyone.

From Kopna dolina by car to Zgornje Podjelje, where snow starts in shady parts.
First to planina Konjska dolina and then to Javor Peak.
Nice little tour on sparsely snow-covered Pokljuka.

The tour was planned as winter, but conditions moved it to autumn. 20 of us gathered, transport past Šport hotel, Goreljek. The start of the path to Javor Peak is now better marked, short ascent and we are at the highest peak of Pokljuka 1548 m, which is also on the Bohinj mountain trail. Nice view towards Triglav and neighboring peaks. Next goal is always beautiful planina Zajamniki, along the road, because we don't know the path over planina Konjska dolina. Past planina Praprotnica to the energy points, short stop and then to Uskovnica. We didn't go to the hut as they are demolishing it. Now really many huts under renovation, looking forward to new ones. At the little church we turned right towards Voje, first some flat by the weekend houses. When we saw the old hut at Uskovnica, then a somewhat steeper descent begins. In the valley we first went to the waterfall, some pics and already to Okrepčevalnica slap Voje. They served us excellently, some ate mushroom soup, others ričet, third sour milk and buckwheat polenta, all very good and quickly served. Also excellent blueberry strudel, they have mixed too.

Special thanks to the caretaker, extremely friendly gentleman, who listened to me about my clumsiness, found my key and even arranged delivery. Mr. Pavel, really thank you, you saved me a lot of bad mood.

We also walked through Voje valley, past the nicely renovated hut in Vojah. Special charm of the nice day was the walk along the Mostnica gorges. And the last part between nicely arranged farms is relaxing. We have many beauties and we saw quite a few in one day. We walked 22 km, not many elevation gains.
