Javoršček (Javoršek) 1344m

I decided to open a new thread for Javoršček because I couldn't quite fit it into the Menina planina forum, although it still clings well to the plateau, and it's the first highest peak if you head to Menina planina from Črnivec.

We started today's outing in Zgornji Tuhinj, and first headed to the little church of Sv. Vida, which rises nicely above the valley. From the village the path rises steeply!
From the church for a while along the road towards Skojce, where the first pastures greeted us, then accompanied by old yellow-white markers that led us to the path crossing Velike stene. The crossing is varied, partly demanding, shorter than long, on demanding parts a chain helps. The traverse brings us to the foggy and windy Javoršek saddle on planina Travnik. We didn't go to the hut, so from the foggy saddle we headed straight to the top of Javoršček 1344m, and climbed up the pathless ridge. The top of Javoršček is wooded and unmarked.
From the top we descend to the idyllic bivouac, next to which a beautiful tree stands proudly. Great spot! We closed the loop via pathless Slevec 1070m, and descended back to Zgornji Tuhinj along its southern ridge.
Nice loop, good 12km and just over 1000m elevation. We hiked slowly, so with stops we needed six and a half hours.
Have fun!

Nice! Your trip reminded me it's already five years since I told myself I must go to these Menina areas in the sun. Especially the numerous Skojce meadows. Time flies, too many hiking ideas...

Free day, brother had the will, I had the idea, so we wentnasmeh although we didn't visit any peaks, we enjoyed the special silence of these places right below them. First via easy variant to the church and above it to numerous Skojce meadows. Everything was grazing, sheep, cows, horses, donkeys. We managed stable weather under Stenami and twice sheltered under a roof during showers, especially during heavy downpour in pleasant bivouac under Javoršek. Meanwhile we left our path to rain and shy sun. Unfortunately thunder and wind blew us away right from Prevale, where it would be nicest to sit otherwise. When we encountered the second set of local yellow markers, we were back at the start in loop under Slevec after good five hours. Third time here, always in changing rain and sunzmeden, certainly not the last... best
I barely convinced them that we are not the right ones :)1
Someone marked two paths here with the same color2
