Yesterday I was already the fourth time this season on skis. It's true that only yesterday's tour was suitable for all skis and I unnecessarily struggled with rock dilemmas on it. Original plan was to check out somewhere on Dleskovska Plateau, but Luka and I during morning chit-chat and on jagr's advice decided for Jelovec. Decision was right, wind was bearable and we didn't even wear all clothes. There is enough snow approx. 100 vertical meters below Loka. Mostly hard crust with interruptions of soft snow that provide acrobatic inserts. In short, super ski touring, enough snow, with right choice of access road you drive almost to the car. We were wondering if you'd have problems with trailbreaking. Apparently we worried for nothing .

There's really quite some snow, as you saw when trailbreaking on Komen. Here the bushes below the summit covered the narrow path due to snow weight, so a bit harder to find the trail but all went fine. Now there's a trail. Regards

Bbrina, we were worried exactly because bushes under snow weight cover the narrow path. Then it's quite strenuous. On Komn there was a wind crust on the summit that broke through and the first trailbreaker had it tough. Sending you a photo of the ridge where you can climb to summit without struggling through bushes.
