Today I visited the western part of the Karavanks from Korensko sedlo towards Vošca. Already at the border crossing I lost some time searching for the path, caught it about a hundred meters higher. The path in the gullies slowly gains height, so it was nice to run. After crossing the road I lost the path again, so went on freely à la Prešeren. Well, from the top of Jerebikovec onwards there was no more dilemma, just followed the border stones along the ridge. Nicely in sequence Kamnati vrh, Visoka and Nizka Bavha and then the goal on Vošca. For the path from Korensko sedlo to Vošca I spent two hours and ten minutes, including a short break and path search at the beginning. Returned via Jureževa planina along the road to Korensko sedlo. Supposedly it's seven kilometers long, but in autumn when the larches color it was beautiful. For this part of the path exactly 45 minutes. What can I do, years and injuries have brought their own. If I were younger I would surely extend the path via Blekova planina to Trupejevo poldne and then along Železnica back.
