Parked by cemetery in Ljutomer. Just nearby runs the Pomurska mountain trail, which you reach in a few minutes. From there well marked. About 1.5 hrs.
Can park near Ljutomer ponds too.

I'll post what I did even though I biked. This time from Ormož to Jeruzalem, Ljutomer next, back another way. Bike rocks, next time Prlekija properly, more of everything. Length, height, width. Hills lovely, still grapes left from harvest not pecked by starlings. Nice spots for rest and views. If not at the handlebars, could've joined wine tastings some places, snack too. Nice to chat with locals and learn firsthand. Even swans at Krap pond undisturbed when photo close. Really nice cycling pretty places, worth repeating the sin

Turbo, nice that you visit Prlekija hills even by bike.
Maybe just a hint, it's quite nice to do the tour in combination with the train. It takes a little more time, so even an extra drop won't be too much...

My favorite Prlekija combo by train: ŽP Ivanjkovci - Jeruzalem - Ribniki (mandatory stop at tourist farm Frank - Ozmec with excellent homemade wine) - ŽP Ljutomer town.

Excellent guide Uroš from Ptuj fulfilled our wish to visit Prlekija in autumn. On Sunday 33 of us gathered, some for the first time in Prlekija. Really beautiful places and we'll come back. We boarded the train in Ptuj and went to Pavlovci. Easy path through Slovenske gorice, like in Tuscany or even better. We looked towards Austria, then Croatia, of course towards Haloze to Donacka gora... We went to Svetinje, short stop, then to Malek where there was a painting colony. Vineyards all around as far as the eye could see. Relaxing nature with friendly people, what more could one want. Farms nicely kept, vineyards too, cycling paths marked. We reached Jerusalem which I'd wanted for so long. Love bench, great views and Uroš's explanation drawing us to new hikes... These are places of our great men Stanko Vraz and Fran Miklošič. We also visited aunt Marta in Cerovec. The lady is an exceptional cook and hostess. She prepared homemade treats, veggie meat soup, kvašenica, we roasted chestnuts and drank homemade wine and juice. Hospitable, friendly, all great. From Cerovec Stanka Vraz to Makotnjak, train and home. Still time to visit Prlekija in finest autumn colors... Thanks to guide Uroš and aunt Marta.
