Yesterday with a slightly larger group in a van to the Jezerca parking lot. The path can be continued by car to Dom na Gospincu, with a toll of 5 euros, which you throw into the box at the ramp. We went across the pastures on the marked path to the transmitter on Krvavec. Continued towards the accumulation lake on Zvoh, across Škrbina towards Vrh Korena. The path is well marked, and the views of the KSA peaks were wonderful, while the valley was bathed in fog. Unfortunately, this fog caught up with us between Kalški greben and Kalška gora. Part of the group decided on a quick descent towards Cojzova koča, the other part climbed to Kalška gora, then to Cojzova koča where we refreshed ourselves. The road between the lower part of the cargo cableway and Kamniška Bistrica is nicely arranged (last year, when it was still allowed to drive on it, it was in very poor condition).

From Zvoh to Vrh Korena the Jež ridge path is mostly dry. There is snow in a few places but it can be bypassed almost everywhere. Still, be careful! because the mud is very soggy from the melting snow.

Planina Korena is snow-free, further towards Mokrica we saw a lot more snow from the ridge ahead

Planina Dolga njiva. The path under Zvoh is completely snow-covered. We turned around and went up to the Jež ridge instead.

Along the rope it is completely snow-free.

On the other side it is not. Even by the snow, the mud is very waterlogged from the melting snow.

In the steep section opposite the rope there is snow and mud. Caution!

Start of the deepest descent in the ridge. On the other side upwards along the rope it is snow-free.

Not as steep as it looks. It is nicely walkable.

Today from pl. Jezerca to Vrh Korena.
To pl. Koren not much snow, further toward summit enough to properly put on gaiters. Path is trodden, markings mostly visible.
Return same path...

Košutna - Vrh Korena - Zvoh

Today start at Jezerca and across 3 pastures to first summit Košutna. Then through fog pathfinding to Vrh Korena. Orientation in such weather is quite demanding, plus strong wind present practically all the time. If visibility better would continue to Kalški greben, instead turned to Jež ridge and continued to Zvoh. Before ridge entry put on crampons and ice axe. Accumulation lake at Zvoh, due to thick fog, not visible. Then just descent on ski slope, past RTV transmitter, to valley.
