Another fantastic tour. This time Gail Valley, namely Joch-Tscheltscher Alps 2113m. I got the idea for this tour from Maja, who was not long ago at the top of Lumkofla and when I saw the photo of those curves and the road I immediately said this is something for me. And really today I head to the village Liesing, where I leave the car. With the bike I then ride to the village Klebas, where the asphalt road steeply turns right uphill. I ride past the hamlet Tscheltsch where soon a gravel road turns left, straight ahead the road leads to the hamlet Ladstatt. From here to the top there are still good 8km, all together from Klebas there are 11 with 1180m elevation difference, which means the tour is quite demanding. The road is in pretty good condition and very nicely laid out, runs almost entirely through the forest. At the top you really enjoy beautiful views of Carnic Alps and Lienz Dolomites. There I decided also to climb to the top of Lumkofla, which I succeeded. Back I return by the same way.
