Great! Congrats! This path is very nice and the challenge is big enough for ordinary mortals. Great recognition to the first creators of this challenge and those who do it multiple times for their soul! For me it was a nice experience, though I didn't manage to become a club member. Nice that this challenge is lately shown more recognizably to the public. Right that it stays as is, doesn't encourage time competition and thus gives recognition to extreme individual achievements. For those there are races which would surely be interesting too. Good that a nice video was made, GPS tracks, the path on the Črna www page again clearly shown with exact description, also known how with book entry in Črna, obviously flyers made... Anyway right that Črna boasts more with this challenge which with this path shows it's not some backwater place, and practically borders nice mountains with this path, borders Slovenjegraška, Šaleška, Savinjska, Austrian. Mr. priest Tona from Črna also likes to say this path runs practically on parish slopes... Anyway many reasons to try K24 and present to wider public.

Thanks. It really is a nice path. Especially it mostly runs on very comfortable trails sprinkled with needles and grasses. I've never hiked so long on such comfortable paths. Now K-24 has become so known that it's a challenge for many a Koršc for which they train for years. Surely the path deserves wider recognition. Whoever doesn't succeed the first time, no problem, can always try again. Maybe it would be good to wait a bit, because now it's really too hot. best, bojan

On Wednesday my colleague and I tried to do the Carinthian challenge route in hike&fly version (with paraglider). We started the loop at Andrej's hut on Slemen, hiked across Smrekovec to Raduha, from where we flew under Olševa. Then followed ascent to Olševa and flying to the foot of Peca. A large amount of snow above 1500m surprised us, which took us quite some time. Unfortunately too much wind on Peca for descent to Črna, from where we would hike to Uršlja and back to Slemen. This time we quit after descent from Peca, we'll attack again, maybe in reverse direction. More info, track and pics here: http://niceclouds.si/sl/content/koro%C5%A1ki-izziv
