Today I climbed from Korensko sedlo along the Austrian path to the little-known Kamnati Peak. Descended via Jerebikovec back to the starting point.
The trail is mostly dry, some snow remains only in the shady areas.

With Mojca we drove in the morning to Korensko sedlo and a bit into Austria, from where we climbed to the wonderful solitary Kamnati Peak via Rekaršica saddle. Quite a lot of hard and frozen snow starts at the point where the road narrows and persists all the way to the top. No footprints of predecessors, the western Karavanke enchanted us again. Regarding the path - one needs to be very careful especially on the steep descent section from the saddle to the road. Beautiful tour for solitude lovers.
