The pirate found his ship and treasure. In the search there were some wrong turn-offs with wading through rocky terrain. The cave is reached with more persistent scree knee-grinder.
'Valley' wandering was fun despite the cold under Rzenik wall.

Yeah, I read at Valvasor that they used to moor ships at the little castle in Kamnik and I had to find at least one to confirm his writing jezik

And a bit more seriously... without a helmet it's not really recommended to poke around there. Without poles it would be tricky too, because the scree isn't the kind where you can slide down nicely.

To the salt lick that's in your picture there's a nice path. From the salt lick onwards to the cave it's all pure misery. zadrega

I myself years ago continued further until a vertical wall under Konj blocked the path. Descent was quite tough.
Of course, only at home did I realize that continuing from the cave onwards is possible only along the contour line and not upwards. zavijanje z očmi

Today in a window of "nice" weather up Bela mountain, down around. You can still reach the ship, as the landslide stopped about a meter before the path branches off... nasmeh

The sheer size of the landslide probably made too big an impression and I overlooked it or looked for it lower. More than twenty years since I was there. Thanks for the correction. nasmeh

3.4. we walked around these parts. Attaching pic of landslide, cave is nicely visible left of the landslide. If someone goes to Presedlaj, suggest this safe variant: At Orglicah turn right onto unmarked path towards Veža. Soon turn right off it onto worse trail. After crossing gully, continue between gully and ridge upwards to marked path. There we put a cairn so you know where to turn off the path on descent.
