Kanceljni, Prevčev stolp, Planja

Today, Tone (lijaneja) and I spent a nice day up there.
We approached from the road hut along a comfortable forest path, crossed under Planja, along the path past Lešarjev waterfall and up the gully past the windows to the Kotl pod Planjo and from there to the top of Kanceljnov.
We continued towards Prevčev Tower, climbed it and descended to the Hruška saddle.
From there across screes and ridge to the top of Planja.
We completed the loop along the marked path from the saddle under Razor and down the grassy Mlinarica to the car.
Beautiful day in the wild Trentarski world!

Yesterday I experienced a fantastic day.
With great pleasure I responded to Dragot's invitation to visit these two pathless peaks. Due to difficult accesses I had written them off long ago, but with a friend's help I managed to conquer them.
A little before six we started from in front of the road hut on Vršiška road. Weather was promising, visibility good, slight cloudiness helped at descent so we didn't arrive home sunburnt. I won't describe the tour (memory and recognition a bit shaky), whoever wants can read very fluent and precise description by Mirjana and Marko from twelve years ago. Obviously Prevc was a small joke for them, as they rate the hardest part only III-IV.
Once again thanks to Dragot for invitation and leading (and also transport), without him I would never stand on these remote and demanding summits.
At descent from Prevc I found a case for sunglasses. I'll gladly give it to the owner.
Ah, one more thing: Since I'm writing in "current conditions", let me say that at descent from Planja saddle towards Mlinarica, below Razor, the ice axe was very useful.

Start in front of the roadman's hut on Vršiška cesta at 1090m.

Only yesterday I experienced that this is a monster.

Western face of Razor still quite white.

On top of Kanceljni. Complete south face of Prisank. Both Zvonikas and the last window are visible.

The summit of Lepotec posed clearly all day.

Peak above Ruda, Frdamane ledges and Špik.

Very demanding lower part of the Kanceljni ridge

Zadnjiški Ozebnik. Behind the summit of Malošpičje, left Zasavska koča, right Veliko špičje, which is approached by fog from the south.

On the right, the scree approach to Kanceljne.

For the lower part of the descent from Perevc we used a rope.

Today from Mlinarca through the hidden double window to Kanceljne. Under Lešarjev slap someone left red hiking poles… later on the tour we didn't meet anyone. Continued to Prevčev tower and abseiled 3x into Hruška. Then easier approach to both summits of Planja and back along the marked trail to Cestar's hut. The tour that was long on the wish list justified its beauty in every respect 😊 Unforgettable!
