Someone has to be first and why not us. In the morning we let ourselves be taken by gondola to Kanin ski slopes, which are far from our goal. After coffee we take the chairlift to Prestreljeniška škrbina, then the tour begins. Down to Prevala we ski on the ski slope of course, cross into Italy, where a short hike to Golovec saddle follows, then ski under Prevalski Kuntar, put on skins and crampons and climb to Konjskih polic notch under Lopo in less than 45 minutes. In not too good snow conditions, soft to hard slush and windpacked we ski to Robon saddle under V. Bavha. Put on skins again and climb to Brežice saddle (Sella Mogenza) or to bivouac Mondonutti Savoia. A longer stop follows, then we ski down the beautiful valley towards Korite above Možnica. Snow just right settled, just a meter or two aside real powder, everyone chose their own and enjoyed zigzagging in the pristine white accordingly. Above Korite we took off skis and climbed over the saddle, then skied around the edge, descended through a short gully and skied on powder snow expanses towards the valley, and in the final part on the road to the transport that was already waiting for us. From 2300 m we skied to around 700 m. On the nice touring ski tour were Matic, Jure, Zdenko, Peter, Vinko and yours truly. The tour is suitable for all-round experienced touring skiers on condition of precise terrain knowledge, not feasible in fog.
