After a long time Kanin with its multitude of two-thousanders came up again. With Felix and Rajko we board the Kanin cable car at eight and arrive at the destination in a good half hour. Heavy backpacks on shoulders and we're already on the way to Dom Petra Skalarja. In the hut (which has provisioning at the level of the 60s of the previous century) we arrive in a good half hour, drop off the things we won't need during the day and we're already on the way to the first summit Vrh Osojnic 2371m. That day we planned to visit all the ridge summits from Prestreljeniško okno to Visoki Kanin. Since we're not alpinists, we had to descend from the ridge four times and climb back up. Besides the already mentioned Vrh Osojnic the following joined the list of conquered summits that day: Hudi Vršič - eastern summit cca 2475m, main summit 2478m, Peči eastern summit cca 2460, main summit 2472, Srednji Vršič 2543, Kaninski Vršič cca 2530 and Visoki Kanin 2587. On the return to the hut Visoka glava 2310 and Mali Talir 2173 on Kaninskih podih were welcoming too. Summits differ partially on various maps by measured heights or are not even marked. For those I determined approximate height with Garmin.
