In these rainy days we can take time for
friends, and go somewhere else. The weather
isn't exactly the best for hills. The path takes us to White Carniola. Interesting is this karst world with numerous dolines, springs, stone heaps, screes.
The specialty of this trail is three small karst
caves: water cave Lebica, Malikovec and Jewish house. The day passed quickly and the weather didn't hinder us at all. As they say - where there's a will there's a way, cheers ...Majda

Nice trail you did, Majdag. Too bad it was raining. White Carniola is beautiful even though there are no high mountains; even low hillocks have their charm. Did you enter any of these caves or only go to the entrance? Lp

My heart grew tender when viewing the photos. Yes, here I am at home. I don't live in my home place anymore, not for decades, but I am still "tom duma".
It's nice here even in winter.1

Irina, is this place also in Bela Krajina?
Although I get cold easily, I must admit winter has its charms too. For many hill climbers these are the only real charms that the mountains offer.

Yes Tisa, Bela krajina is beautiful, and everywhere is beautiful, you just have to know how to observe.

I too spent a week of vacation with my husband years ago in Bela Krajina, sleeping and food in Dragatuš - tourist farm, a week of cycling around the area, discovering wonderful places and people, ascent to Mirna gora, Lahinja park, Krupa spring ... beautiful memories ...
It still pulls me to repeat it, but what can I do when the mountains have addicted me.
