Kingdoms of Pokljuka-MTB tour

Today my wishes came true to bike across the entire Pokljuka, lengthwise and crosswise. I started the tour at Zatrnik near the inn, where they traditionally roast suckling pigs on a spit. The route went briefly like this: Along the main road to the first left turn onto the forest path – onwards the road winds through the southern slopes of Pokljuka, where we glimpse down into the Bled basin – I reach Belska planina, where I join the main road coming from Gorjuš – past the sawmills and after two short turns behind the sawmills, left into the cart track – here I cross the swampy bog and after Rambo crashing I reach Sp. Goreljek – from there to the road and at the junction with signs to the alpine pastures Jelje, Pl. Konjska dolina, Pl. Zajamniki, Pl. Praprotnica – onwards to Pl. Uskovnica, where for 20 min I stop the horses. Onwards to Rudno polje, Pl. Krasca, left along the upper forest path all the way to the junction for Pl. Klek – another 4 km to the last goal, and I'm done! On the way in one single day I saw a huge number of alpine pastures, houses, animals, even more impressions of the biked path, a real safari. I moved so that the steep slopes always bypassed me. There was no end to the paths, but because of the feast for the eyes, it felt like a shorter tour. Whoever rides a bike, I warmly recommend the tour, because in Slovenia there's no equal. Even Jelovica can't match it in beauties and expanses. Of course, I found the treasure of Pokljuka – Pl. Klek and Pl. Velika raven, which is hard to find. It's shrouded in a hollow with spruce forests, far from main paths. I found it by chance. I didn't photograph it, because I'd have to crash through the dense spruce primary forest. It was more than paradise. LPP-Rok

Some more statistical data on the covered path: Distance 71 km, total riding time 5 h 35 min, average speed 13 km/h and also Video from Pl. Klek, if it works.
