We started at the parking lot of the lower gondola station in St. Oswald. The path leads for a long time through the forest along a noisy stream. Although we started as late as nine, up to the ridge we met no one except cows and marmots. The path is excellently marked, not steep, views are beautiful. Quite a few people at the summit. We continued over Malnock to the upper gondola station. In total 11km and over 1000 elevation meters in 3h45min of comfortable walking. To the car by gondola.
For these trips it's really worth staying overnight, as they offer quite a few perks e.g. free gondola ride, discounts in restaurants...
