Yesterday I set off from the mountain village Windische Hohe/Venetian Hill (above Lower Gail Valley), which is located at 1110m above sea level, to the 1820m high Kobesnock. The path, which is 3 hours long, is completely dry. A little below the summit I came across a primrose bed of size 20 x 30m, but an eager collector whom I spotted in the middle of the wall had already torn off most of them and packed them into his backpack. With girlfriend did the same tour in August this year before thunderstorm, on return we picked and stuffed in backpack quite a lot of chanterelles (at least at end of forest road section it was all yellow, please don't tell this detail to anyone...) and then did pit-stop at first inn outside forest in Windische Hohe.

From parking area Windische Hohe, which is now completely full, we set off along forest path that slowly ascends. Sometimes we reach forest road too. Nice places for looking around, also across border to Italy, Slovenia. On alpine pasture, at the house quite a few thirsty hikers. Last part steeply up to the summit.
