I'm opening this thread, although today I only walked a small part of this trail, from Kočevje over Livoldski vrh (KT4) to Štalcerje (KT 5), maybe someone will add more. Description of the entire trail, which takes 5 to 6 days, can be found at http://www.planinsko-drustvo-kocevje.si/pd_kocevska_planinska_pot.htm. I started along the Grajska path towards Fridrihštajn, below Fridrihštajn summit left towards Livoldski vrh, over Livoldski vrh descent to the other side to forest road, where markers go left and right (here it would be appropriate to add sign for Kočevska PP, which goes left). Some time on the road, then left turn-off to Štalcerje. Follows steep descent through increasingly sparse forest to forest road, where we go right and at next junction again right. Markers guide us all along, just sometimes need to look more carefully. From Livoldski vrh to Štalcerje I met no one, not even animals. For today's trail section I spent approx. 3 hours, but that's not a measure, because my uphill walking is slow.

Question doesn't fit exactly here but anyway. In one day I'd like to visit Koča pri jelenovem studencu and Mestni vrh. Then lower Nežica waterfall. Those two are clear to me. But I don't know how to connect also Firstov rep. From which starting point should I visit it to lose as little time as possible. Thanks in advance for the answer.

To the Koča pri Jelenovem studencu and Mestni vrh from Kočevje, in between Nežica waterfall and Firstov rep from Strma reber pass. Mainly slabs and on Firstov rep quite whirling wind.

Hi! Where are there any water sources on this trail? I have a water filter, so I can filter from well or rainwater from cistern. From what I read there are: Jelenov studenec Štalcerji village bar Kočevska reka Possible Loški potok Problematic seems the section from Jelenov studenec to Kočevska reka. And then back to trail from Kočevska reka and on to Cerk - Loška stena - Goteniški Snežnik,... Is there water somewhere in between here?
