A nice sunny day was made to order for celebrating Chinese New Year on Kokoš. Lots of walkers, the walk in the sign of the hill. Kokošji!
A bit here, a bit there all the way to the top.
In the hut warm tea and cold beer. To the Chinaman a gray congratulation (no rhyme for red).

Through Sežana towards Divača, then right to Lokev, where we went on foot across meadows, past the chapel to the right towards the little forest, then up. The path is not steep, but nice for walking. From Jezersko, rain chases us, so we head to the coast. Bullseye regarding the weather. Really nice little tour, which you extend to the spring of Vroča and V. Gradišče. There after the second hour the sun disappeared and rain started, but then we were already on the way back.

on the way back also Vilenica cave, which is closed on Saturdays

Today I headed to the Karst hill Kokoš. This time from former border crossing Lipica along the road, back steeper path through forest. I've been to the top many times, even by bike. Today fully spring weather, warm, no wind and nice views. Predominating Italian-speaking cyclists.

Today we, the retirees of PD Škofja Loka, were on Veliko Gradišče – 741 m and on Kokoš – 670 m. We started in Lokev, went over Preloža, past the Vroček spring to Veliko Gradišče – 742 m and also went to Kokoš – 670 m. We descended to Lipica. Meanwhile on the path there was even snow and ice. We also had proper Karst bora.
