Yesterday my colleague and I went to explore the underground of Konečka Cave. The road through Ljubije gorge is well gravelled and so we got to the water station without problems and parked there. Since my memory was nagging me mrk pogled

we searched a bit for access to the cave. For ascent and descent we used ice axe, crampons stayed packed. For the tour we took quite some time, as the cave is really beautiful. After the cave we headed along the ridge of Brloške Peči to Brloški Vrh and descended via Zaloka through Ljubijski Graben back to the water station. We would have gone more, but the phone rang... nasmeh

Ivan, congrats on the nice exploration tour. You gave me an idea. I haven't been to Konečka jama for a long time either. I remember when we were still schoolkids we explored "holes" in our area, now we somehow forget about that too. What's the path from Zaloka to apnenec (water reservoir)? Nice pics you posted nasmeh

Hi Dani! Thanks! Yes, that end closer to you is nice. Brloške and Konečke peči are perfect for exploring underground and on surface. nasmeh

The path/road through Ljubijski graben from apnenec up to Zaloka is nice. I don't even know when they rebuilt the road up there after the 90s flood. Perfect for ski touring, since they don't plow it/barrier. velik nasmeh

Maybe we could head up there together sometime. mežikanje

Without Konečka jama of course.

From the water station over Brloške peči and Brloški vrh. Since the day was still young, I briefly skimmed the Smrekovca peak too and returned past Leskovška and back through the gorge. The day was nice, Smrekovski ends fully visited. Snow severely lacking.
Personal opinion - the paths of the masters who provided the description above are not to be underestimated. After a long time I several times pondered if on the steep with slippery dry leaves I hadn't exceeded the psychological return limit if orientation played up. Very demanding hunting path/off-trail, probably dry weather, ice axe and guide escort useful.
