Kot, Rž (lost sunglasses)

Even as a small child, I wanted to spend my birthday on the snow, but it took more than twenty years for these not-so-modest dreams for this time of year to come true. Snow starts at the spring (1315m) and you can easily ski there too. We started late and arrived at Stanič just before dark. The afternoon rain had moistened the snow just enough that it was slippery on steeper terrain. Artač started a bit later and carried his skis the whole time, which turned out to be the better choice. The next day he had early commitments, so he descended at first light. He says the snow was frozen (concrete) all the way to the source! We headed to Rž via the direct gully, which is perfectly filled. After the narrow tongue, you can still ski practically from the top of Rž, and the entrance to the gully is very nice too. Unfortunately, I left my helmet at home, so we descended to the saddle 50m lower, where we put on our skis. Due to occasional cloudiness, the snow had barely softened, but under Peklo it was already pleasantly soft. True, the snow has somewhat lost its virgin whiteness, but there's still a lot of it in these areas. All passages are perfectly filled, and if the weather continues like this, the tour will be relevant for at least another 14 days. Today it could happen again that the whole valley freezes over. The ideal descent time strongly depends on the sun. On the way, probably at Studenec, I lost my Adidas sunglasses. If anyone found them, please contact me at 040 187818. Thanks! Leon, Kebr, and Artač celebrated with me. http://razmere.turni-klub-gora.si/GPX/GPXPrikazi.php?Fin=11134.gpx
