From the parking lot above Mače across the meadow and through the steep forest to Kozjek (the distinct ridge forms only in the upper part). From it a short descent to the saddle and up to the hut with unique views. I continue along part of the ridge, for which I actually set out on the trail - Lanež. The ridge ends at the summit of Mali Grintavec or descends from there towards Licjanovec. I turned right here to Dolga Njiva and continued along the second branch of the triangular ridge formation over Srednji Vrh and Cjanovca to Javorov Vrh (descent from Cjanovca is delicate due to high temperatures). Towards the valley I headed along the third ridge branch, which took me over Potoska Gora and Sv. Jakob to Bistrica along a steep ridge.

Bravo, little one. For info: almost the entire Lanež ridge already has a path/trail made, somewhere in the middle maybe cca. 100m connection missing. The last ridge from Jakob locals call K2 velik nasmeh

Otherwise the path on the Lanež ridge saddens me and I'm really glad I tackled the tour in winter when it's covered in snow. When I saw the clear-cut (it's blown down to the ground there; previously dwarf pines surely held the snow, now the wind can sweep it off the ridge right away), a lump formed in my throat. Only when it ends (at least I think it ends there), does a thicker snow cover begin, from which the highest branches of the dwarf pines stick out. I hoped this was one of the rare corners above Preddvor where a piece of untouched wilderness remained, but as you say, it's not so.
