Hi. Does anyone maybe have information, what the situation is like in the valley of the Belopeška Lakes towards Plazje... How's the snow, etc... Thanks

In the car from Unca to Ljubljana we changed our minds at least three times where to go nasmeh
Weather and especially wind blew us to Plazje and the decision was correct. You can ski incredibly low, below 1000 masl. Higher up some fresh snow, which is more of a nuisance.
Spring has arrived below Mangart.1
There is still a lot of snow in Plazje.2
The ski descent goes far into the valley. Below is a white tongue of snow visible which brings us only 10-15 minutes from the car.3
All together over 1000 vertical meters of skiing :) .4
Yippee!5

Plazje-Mang.sedlo (21.03.21)

From the bottom up, the early morning view towards the summit or saddle was clear skies weather-wise, but windy. Here not even a cm of snow fell yesterday, but the wind nicely drifted it from the top into the gully. It was great, especially for skiing. The summit waited for next time, no sense ascending in fog, snowfall, wind. I can say that Plazje is filled so nicely for skiing this year as not in recent years. Avalanches don't hinder, as they're already well covered with new snow.

It seemed to me you were at Plazje. When you were returning, I saw you exactly there where (little bridge on upper lake) the road goes up to koča zacchi (because I heard screaming, I hid in the forest behind trees to see if it wasn't by chance a forest service control due to red zoneeek because then I'd be in troublemrk pogled) and then thought how you crossed the border with the carzmeden, because seeing the first pic it's clear: turnoff from the ski track there near "žverca" - that's the old name of that house. Damn, you extended the tour quite a bit, you have good fitness + know all the shortcuts in covid time, thanks for pics and congratsmežikanje
